Over the past few months, those efforts have been paying off. Today, state and federal officials revealed that Hewlett Packard's facility in Corvallis will be yet another destination for investments in Oregon's semiconductor industry. Even if HP is best known for its printers and computers, there's a particular field that the company has staked out for future tech, known as microfluidics.
