The Portland Trail Blazers traded Damian Lillard, their franchise icon and arguably the best player in franchise history, to the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team trade between Portland, Milwaukee and the Phoenix Suns, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported on Sept. 27. The update came nearly three months after Lillard's trade request went public on July 1. Portland is also sending out Jusuf Nurkic, Nassir Little and Keon Johnson in the trade, which also includes the Phoenix Suns. The Blazers will receive point guard Jrue Holiday from the Milwaukee Bucks and center Deandre Ayton from the Phoenix Suns.
