Description
Sept. 25 on The Story: After voters narrowly passed it back in November 2022, lawsuits blocked Measure 114 before it could take effect. The law requires that prospective gun owners take a firearm safety course and pass a complete background check before obtaining a permit to buy a gun, and it also bans the sale of magazines holding more than 10 rounds. Here's everything we know about the trial and how things stand pending a final ruling.
