Marie Dodds of AAA said the busiest traffic "crunch times" for the Fourth of July holiday in Portland will be during the afternoon on Wednesday, June 28 and Thursday, June 29. The busiest days that people will be returning home after their Fourth of July trip will be Wednesday, July 5 and Thursday, July 6, according to Dodds.
