Video provided by Oregon State Police shows the crash from the cab of the semi. It happened on I-84 westbound near the Morrow-Umatilla county line just after 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 5. According to OSP, the driver of the RV "performed an unsafe lane change" as the semi was about to pass another truck. The back end of the RV hit the front of the semi, causing the RV driver to lose control. The RV then flipped over, slid to the right shoulder and came to a stop. There were five people inside of the RV, and all of them were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The semi driver was not injured. OSP issued a citation to the RV driver for unlawful change of lane.
