April 19, 2023 on The Story: Governor Tina Kotek took to the podium on Wednesday, delivering a speech to mark her first 100 days in office. That meant highlighting some victories on her legislative agenda, like the passage of a $200 million package meant to back up her homelessness state of emergency and progress on a child literacy bill that she championed. But she also spent a lot of time sending a message to the Oregon Legislature about what else she wants them to accomplish — namely, what other funding she wants them to wrangle for some of these pressing issues.
