March 10, 2023 on The Story: Across the country, school districts have increasingly become a battleground in the culture wars. Most recently, that's taken the form of book bans. At the West Linn-Wilsonville School District, eight books are now under the gun. It's the result of a group of parents lobbying for their removal for explicit content, something they took to the school board in November. While the books remain in school libraries for now, they've now been placed under review.
