Description
Jan. 9, 2022 on The Story: It was a big day at the Oregon state capitol in Salem on Monday. The state House and Senate both convened to swear in legislators, elect their own leaders and adopt rules. But the standout story? Tina Kotek, formerly speaker of the Oregon House for nine years, took her oath of office as Oregon's governor, replacing Kate Brown as the state's chief executive. Tonight we take a look at the inauguration, both the ceremonies and behind the scenes.
