Dec. 8, 2022 on The Story: In May, a 16-year-old girl overdosed on fentanyl in the bathroom of her Vancouver, Wash. high school. School staff twice used Narcan in an attempt to save her life, but she died a few days later. The school district didn't notify other parents, police or the community about the deadly overdose. For months, KGW investigative reporter Evan Watson has been working to piece together what happened that day and why the district made the decision it did.
