Nov. 30, 2022 on The Story: On Tuesday night, dozens of business owners from Portland's Central Eastside gathered to let Mayor Ted Wheeler know how they feel about crime, homelessness and their perceived neglect by the city. It will surprise no one to find out that they were not happy. Speakers said that they've endured threats, break-ins, vandalism, lost revenue and patrons without enough attention from the City of Portland.
