Oct. 11, 2022 on The Story: Election Day is fast approaching, but according to a survey in early 2022, there's still distrust over how elections operate, and if they are fair. That's caused some people to go door-to-door looking for evidence of voter fraud — questioning people and even asking who they voted for. It's happening in Oregon and Washington state, and is loosely connected to a national campaign that's looking to prove the 2020 election was "stolen." The Story looks at how these groups operate, and how local and state officials are responding.
