Description
Sept. 27, 2022 on The Story: It's been almost two years since Oregon voters passed Measure 110, decriminalizing possession of small amounts of hard drugs. The plan was to use money from the state's marijuana tax to create more addiction services — putting emphasis on treatment over punishment. But with a lack of incentive to seek treatment, not many people are actually doing that. A drug policy expert at Stanford University says until the state fixes this flaw, the problem will continue to get worse.
