Republican Joe Kent is running to be the U.S. Representative for Washington's 3rd Congressional District. He will face three opponents in the Aug. 2 primary election: Incumbent Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler and challenger Heidi St. John, both Republicans, and Democratic candidate Marie Gluesenkamp Perez. The top two finishers in the primary election, regardless of party, will advance to a runoff in the November general election.
