Description
For over 50 years, legendary American photographer Susan Meiselas has pushed the boundaries of her craft and captivated audiences with her intimate portraits -- from Nicaraguan rebels to US carnival strippers. But she says she will still be looking forward after receiving the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to Photography prize at the Sony World Photography Awards 2025. "I don't see it as a point of a destination that I was looking for," the 76-year-old says, adding, "I'm excited to be part of the dialogue in photography." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
