Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog has been loaned to the Colorado Eagles, the team's AHL affiliate, for a conditioning assignment. The team broke the news on the social platform X Wednesday morning. Landeskog has been absent from the Avalanche bench since Colorado won the Stanley Cup in 2022. He has been recovering from a cartilage transplant procedure that he underwent May 10, 2023. Since then, Landeskog has been on the team's long-term injured reserve.
