Description
A Salvation Army employee who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman passed a background check before he was hired, a spokesperson for the organization told 9NEWS in an interview Tuesday.
Billy Johnson, a worker at the organization's Quebec Street shelter near Interstate 70, is charged with felony sexual assault. According to an arrest affidavit, Johnson allegedly pulled a woman into a vacant room and sexually assaulted her early Friday morning. Denver police arrested him later that day.
