The San Francisco Police Department announced on Wednesday that an arrest warrant was issued regarding a 1992 cold case homicide that is linked to a man awaiting trial in another '96 cold case murder in Denver. Police in San Francisco have accused Ricky Dawson, 64, of killing 45-year-old Nancy Hernandez in their city in 1992. Dawson is also accused of killing 35-year-old Terri Turachak in 1996 in Denver. Dawson is being held for trial in Denver for Turachak's '96 murder. After his Denver trial, he will be transported back to San Francisco. He is linked to other sexual assault and homicides in Florida and Washington, the media release says.
