While sitting on the front porch of his rebuilt home, Bryant Culler could see dozens of goats eating weeds and grass as a way to keep fire danger minimal. As he reflected on life over the last three years, strong winds returned to his neighborhood where wildfire destroyed his home in 2021.
“I was more worried about the trash cans than anything. But it hit me a little harder than I expected,” Culler said of the three-year mark of the Marshall Fire.
Extreme winds fueled the Marshall Fire that destroyed more than 300 homes in Superior, including Culler’s.
