The northbound lanes of I-25 have reopened near Monument after a deadly crash Wednesday. The Colorado State Patrol said at around 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, they received a report of a two-car crash involving a Jeep and a Subaru on northbound I-25 between Monument and West Baptist Road. The drivers moved their vehicles to the left shoulder of the interstate, where they got out to exchange information. During that time, CSP said, a driver in a pickup truck hit the vehicles involved in the initial crash. The impact caused the Subaru to hit one of the original two drivers. He landed in the southbound lanes of I-25, where he was run over. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
