The Aurora Police Department asked for the public's help on Wednesday in identifying a man who has committed multiple armed robberies since August and targets Hispanic people, especially those who speak Spanish. Most of the 12 reported robberies have happened in the area of South Chambers Road and Alameda Avenue, most of them after dark. In one of the robberies, the man fired shots. In another, on Oct. 9, the Community College of Aurora CentreTech Campus was place on secure perimeter due to a police search for the man.
