Description
A small brush fire is burning in Tuesday morning southern Jefferson County.
The fire was reported about 11 a.m. near 12257 S. Wadsworth Blvd. By 11:30 a.m., the fire had burned about an acre and was spreading slowly uphill to the west, according to South Metro Fire Rescue.
No buildings were threatened, and a Douglas County helicopter was launching to make water drops.
