Simone Biles clinched her fifth Olympic gold medal as she made a triumphant return to the women's gymnastics team final at the Paris games Tuesday, reinforcing her status as one of the greatest athletes just three years after withdrawing from the same event at the Tokyo Games.
Eight years after winning gold in Rio with a group that called Aly Raisman grandma because she was all of 22, Biles — now 27 and married — was back again with Jade Carey (24), Jordan Chiles (23), Sunisa Lee (21) and teenager Hezly Rivera at her side.
They're the oldest women's gymnastics team the U.S. has ever sent to the Olympics.
