Description
Jeff Crank has won the GOP nomination in CD5, defeating Colorado Republican Party chairman Dave Williams. Colorado primary election results: Colorado held its 2024 primary election on Tuesday, June 25. Voters chose Democratic and Republican candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives, the University of Colorado Board of Regents, the Colorado state legislature and other local races in Denver and across the state. All three of the U.S. House seats currently or most recently held by Republicans in Colorado are up for grabs this year, after each incumbent announced they would not seek reelection. One of those incumbents, District 3 Rep. Lauren Boebert, switched districts and sought the Republican nomination in District 4. Elections for these House seats will be held along with the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 5. On Tuesday, voters in Congressional District 4 elected a representative to fill the remainder of retired Rep. Ken Buck's term, which ends in January.
