Description
A volcano is erupting in southwest Iceland after weeks of seismic activity. A crack of about three and a half kilometers has opened up along the earth's surface, releasing fountains of lava into the air. So far, there are no reports of any injuries, and the government says the eruption does not pose a threat to life.
