Description
Have you seen Rebecca Osmond?
Authorities believe the 47-year-old Wisconsin woman was on the way to Tampa, but she hasn't been heard from in nearly three weeks.
Wisconsin investigators with Beloit Police Department are leading the missing persons case. Rebecca's family says, according to those investigators, her information was used to buy a bus ticket from Orlando that would have had her arriving at Tampa's Union Station on Feb. 24.
Rebecca's son, Elijah Ortega, told 10 Tampa Bay, "It's killing me every day. I hope she's okay."
Elijah said it's very unusual for him not to hear from his mom for long periods.
"If she doesn't answer, she always calls me back. I just wonder why she hasn't contacted me or anyone else," Elijah said.
Her family says she had been traveling from Wisconsin by train. While Florida was her home for two decades, her plans here were unclear.
Non-profit private investigator group, We Are The Essentials (WATE), has been assisting with the search for more than a week.
