Description
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, St. Pete Beach's beloved La Croisette restaurant has emerged resilient, reopening its doors despite ongoing permit challenges. Owners Natalie and Mickael Roche have turned a potentially devastating setback into a story of community strength and determination.
The restaurant faced significant financial hurdles, with an estimated $200,000 in lost business during the hurricane's aftermath.
"Everyday we lost is a nightmare for business, no income for employees, no income for anybody," Mickael explained.
Despite the challenges, the Roches remain optimistic.
"We are very excited because we are open and there is so much business," Natalie shared.
The couple has maintained a positive outlook, particularly appreciative of their staff of 19 employees.
"We are very lucky, we are lucky for the staff," Natalie said.
