One person died after a fire broke out at a house in Polk County. Firefighters responded to the blaze Saturday night just after 10:30 p.m. on Jason Lane in Polk City where they found a person trapped inside. Crews found and rescued the person while other firefighters put water on the fire. They had it under control by just after midnight, according to a news release.
