Federal protective measures have been approved for various counties across the Tampa Bay area, including Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee and Sarasota counties. That manes FEMA will coordinate relief efforts and reimburse counties for evacuation and shelter operations.
