Description
A shooting at a St. Pete home turned into an ambulance chase early Thursday morning as emergency crews drove the victim to a local hospital, according to police.
Now, a man is charged with the murder of his wife, officers said.
It started at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday at a house on 29th Avenue North near US-19 and 66th Street North. Officials said 28-year-old Devin Hansen and his wife, 35-year-old Yasmin Grijalva, were there visiting family when the two got into an argument.
During the argument, police say Hansen shot Grijalva.
By the time medical response crews arrived at the scene, Hansen had already left in a black Cadillac CTS, according to a news release.
