A man accused of going on the run after killing his ex-girlfriend on Jan. 7 at a flea market in Arcadia is now behind bars.
Emilio Gustavo Olalde-Angel, 47, was booked Thursday in the DeSoto County Jail on a charge of first-degree premeditated murder, records show. Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers posted on social media that the U.S. Marshals Service tracked him to a home in the county more than a week after the deadly shooting.
He reportedly was arrested without incident.
