On New Year’s Eve, many Stanley Cup fans waited in line for hours to try to get their hands on limited edition versions of the popular tumbler that were being sold exclusively at Target. Within the past year, multiple people online say they’ve fallen victim to a Stanley Cup scam after clicking on social media ads that sent them to fraudulent websites claiming to sell the cups at extremely discounted prices.
