Description
As 2024 rolls in, Florida's Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday is making a comeback to help people stock up on fresh supplies.
This is not the first time the Sunshine State had this tax holiday, with shoppers previously being able to grab supplies in 2022 and 2023.
Now, the next wave of the tax holiday runs from Monday, Jan. 1 to Sunday, Jan. 14. It allows shoppers to avoid paying sales taxes on clothes, shoes, school supplies and personal computers.
There are four main categories to help guide you on your shopping journey:
School supplies selling for $50 or less
Clothing, footwear and accessories selling for $100 or less
Learning aids and jigsaw puzzles selling for $30 or less
Computers and accessories (when purchased for non-commercial and personal use) selling for $1,500 or less
