Russian cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitri Petelin left the Poisk module of the International Space Station on Tuesday, April 18 for a spacewalk aimed at relocating a radiator.
According to NASA, cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev will assist the mission by operating the European robotic arm to move the radiator from Rassvet module to the Nauka science module.
NASA’s said this is the fourth spacewalk in Prokopyev’s career, and the second for Petelin.
A new spacewalk is scheduled a week from Tuesday to finish the mission.
