Description
The impact from a weak cold front dropping through Ohio will be seen and felt heading into the weekend, coming in the form of clearing skies and cooler temps!
Sunshine returns on Friday, but it will be cool thanks to the brisk northerly winds. Expected highs in the low to mid 60s, with winds 10-15 mph through the afternoon. Wind chills will keep things even a touch cooler throughout the day and especially overnight.
Following a cool Friday, we enjoy temperatures trending upward as we head into Mother's Day weekend with the current forecast including more sunshine and light winds, with mild and dry weather through Monday. Temps will push into the 70s both Saturday and Sunday.
Mother's Day will be fantastic, with plenty of sunshine, light winds, and warmer temperatures by afternoon.
The nice weather will start to come to an end next week as an upper level disturbance will lift northward, increasing the southerly winds, and consequently the humidity.
At this point, Monday will have a few more clouds, but still looks dry for central Ohio. Showers and storms become possible Tuesday, Wednesday, and potentially into Thursday as well.
Severe weather is not expected across Ohio at this time, but we will continue to monitor the situation and keep you all informed!
