Description
Warm weather continues on Thursday, but it will be accompanied by a slight increase in humidity that will lead to a few afternoon and evening pop-up showers & storms.
While most will be dry, don't be surprised if you encounter a brief downpour during the evening.
A better chance of more widespread storms will arrive ahead of a cold front Friday, especially in the evening and overnight. Temperatures will fall into the 70s as a result of this increased activity on Friday, but that is still about 10 degrees above normal for late April.
Lingering showers could continue into Saturday morning, which means a small chance for some light rain during the Cap City Half Marathon (but overall, should be good running weather and mostly dry).
Temperatures are expected to be in the 50s and the 60s during the day on Saturday and it will be breezy with more sunshine as the day progresses.
Sunday will be a pleasant end to the weekend, with more sunshine and highs back near the 70s.
This will push back toward the 80s with largely dry weather by Monday and Tuesday. The next weather system takes aim on central Ohio Wednesday, bringing the chance of rain & storms to central Ohio.
