Investigators are looking for a suspect who they say was responsible for a deadly shooting in Hillsborough County on Friday. Just after 4:00 p.m., deputies responded to calls about a shooting near Progress Boulevard and South 82nd Street. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said a woman was driving a car with a man in the passenger seat and a child in the back. They stopped to talk to the suspect, who then reportedly started shooting. While trying to get away from the shooting, they ended up striking a motorized bicyclist, who officials say was left with minor injuries. The car drove to a nearby Thorntons convenience store to try and get help, according to the sheriff's office. The man in the passenger seat was taken to an area hospital where he later died after suffering gunshot wounds to the upper body, officials say. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
