Recently released video shows the moment TSA agents were attacked at the Miami International Airport on Dec. 28, 2024. According to the arrest report, 28-year-old Cameron McDougall entered the TSA screening area and attempted to punch an officer. After tripping over a cart, McDougall then struck another TSA officer who was trying to restrain him. Law enforcement then arrived and took him into custody. In May 2025, McDougall pleaded guilty in federal court to two counts of assaulting the officers. He faces up to a year in prison on each of the charges. McDougall still faces state charges in connection to the incident.
