U.S. President Donald Trump says he and Russian President Vladimir Putin need to get together to get the Ukraine war solved. The president insists he’s not disappointed with the Russian president for not showing up for peace talks in Istanbul with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. “I don’t believe anything’s going to happen whether you like it or not, until he and I get together,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One as he traveled from Doha, Qatar, to Abu Dhabi, United Emirates, on Thursday. “But we’re going to have to get it solved because too many people are dying.”
