After a couple who work for the Israeli embassy was shot and killed leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum late Wednesday night, Elias Rodriguez, a 30-year-old man from Chicago, was arrested.
D.C. Police Chief Pamela Smith said Rodriguez had entered the museum during the American Jewish Committee event earlier in the night, chanting, “Free, free Palestine.” The victims, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, were outside the museum after the event when they were shot.
