Description
As D.C. prepares for nearly 5,000 members of the Army to be in town ahead of the Army's 250th celebration on Saturday, federal officials are coordinating to keep the event secure. The parade route spans about eight blocks and will last approximately two hours, and will include tanks on D.C. streets. The 250th Anniversary of the U.S. Army Grand Military Parade has grown extensively in scope and size since Army planners started working on a festival two years ago. It is scheduled to happen on June 14, which also happens to be President Trump’s 79th birthday, as well as Flag Day.
