Description
Today is still going to be a scorcher, but there is a little light at the end of the tunnel as a weak front arrives later today. This afternoon temperatures will climb to near 100 degrees. A few storms will fire this afternoon as the front arrives, so enjoy the rain if you get some. We need it badly. By tonight the north wind will begin to pull in less humid air, but without the cool air.
Wednesday will still be hot in the 90s, but it'll feel less humid during the daytime. Expect much of the same Thursday. It'll be hot, but not terribly humid. The muggies and near 100 degrees temps return Friday and Saturday.
The upper high by late weekend will be anchored to our north, possibly allowing an easterly wind to bring a few passing showers. Models also indicate a wave bringing a better chance for showers and storm by Monday and Tuesday next week. At this time, no big tropical development is expected.
