Description
Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says as Alberto moves inland, our focus now turns to 2 other tropical waves.
Tropical moisture still producing heavy rain mainly across central and northern Mexico as Alberto moved inland. Large windfield from the storm is still present over the Gulf, but will continue to weaken.
Both the GFS and Euro are sniffing out some potential tropical development, once again, in the Bay of Campeche or SW Gulf this weekend. This would be in line with activity stemming off of the Central American Gyre this time of year. Models have been consistent over the last several days to move the low almost in the exact same location as Alberto on Monday of next week.
