Slidell police say a motorcycle rider is alive after being run over by an SUV. According to police, the SUV driver was distracted by what was happening in the back of her car, and it was all caught on camera. Daniel Seuzeneau with Slidell Police Department said, "Monday afternoon at Gause and I-10, there was a motorcyclist coming to a stop at a red light." If you watch the video closely, you can see the driver behind doesn't slow down. Seuzeneau said, "The lady behind him was distracted... And just ran the bike straight over." Seuzeneau says miraculously, the man survived with minor injuries, saying, "If you watch the video closely, you see when the vehicle impacts the back of the motorcycle, he kind of comes up and goes to the right, and she proceeds and actually runs the motorcycle over." He says the driver's pets distracted her, "She said one of her dogs came from the back seat to the front, so she turned around to shoo the dog back... In that brief two to three seconds, the light turned yellow, the guy slammed on his brakes, which caused her to run into the back of him."
