Description
Our taste of summer continues, with highs in the upper 80s and 90s and heat indices reaching the near triple digits, and at times above, later in the week and on Memorial Day weekend. The upper ridge is keeping us hot and dry, and even as it gets suppressed a bit south, it will continue to keep our temps flirting with records and any storm systems to our north.
We may see a strong enough upper trough mid-next week send a weak "cold" front through the Gulf coast, hopefully lowering humidity slightly.
