Description
After an upper disturbance and cold front brought a wet Sunday, we're now benefiting from the cooler and less humid air today! High temps have remained in the 60s under partly sunny skies today.
Skies will clear later tonight, winds will subside, and humidity will remain low, allowing for temps to drop to near freezing, mainly near the MS/LA state line, with northern Tangipahoa, Washington, and Pearl River County under a Freeze Warning for tonight.
The duration of freezing temperatures is expected to last no more than an hour or two, just before sunrise. Elsewhere on the Northshore, we could see low to mid-30s. Southshore, River Parishes, and Bayou Parishes in the upper 30s/low 40s. Generally low to mid-40s in the city.
