Description
Thursday morning's tropical update shows long-range models continuing to hint at disturbed weather in the Gulf by mid to late next week. As of now, nothing looks to be a major threat and models aren't necessarily developing an organized tropical system. In fact, both the Euro and GFS send a surge of moisture and rainfall northward, which gets lifted along a developing upper trough over New Mexico and W TX. Depending on track and how it evolves, our area could see rain or miss it completely as the bulk of it stays to our south in the Gulf. Still far out, so nothing for sure at this time, but something to watch and hope for as we need the rain!
