Description
There are currently two tropical storms and two other areas to watch in the coming days in the Atlantic.
Two tropical storms, Gert and Katia, are swirling in the Atlantic Ocean, but they are expected to stay out at sea and eventually fizzle in the next few days.
Farther out, a tropical wave is emerging off of Africa. This spot (Invest 95-L) has a high chance of development in the next seven days. Long-range models develop it, but at this time, it doesn't appear to be a threat to the Gulf of Mexico. We'll let you know of any changes. Another wave will follow behind, but it looks like it will take a route to the north and stay out at sea.
