One of the most popular gifts on Valentine's Day is flowers. The team at Villere's Florist in Metairie is working around the clock. “Valentine’s Day is our single biggest one day of the year. It’s pretty crazy. So, on a regular day we do about 100 deliveries. On Valentine’s Day, we do about 1,000," Roger Villere said. A local florist read out the messages being sent with the flowers, though some he couldn't read.
