Description
Heat is the main story this week with record highs possible across parts of the region. Today will be in the low 90s, but the mid-90s seem more likely Wednesday and Thursday. The first day of fall is Thursday and we could tie the old record high of 95 degrees. Don't count on much rain, but a few showers are possible Wednesday.
The end of the week and weekend are still warm, but we'll be back in the low 90s. By early next week, we could see a few showers and t-storms with a cool front moving in around Monday/Tuesday. This won't bring colder air but should push our temperatures back in the upper to mid-80s.
