Description
Sunday started off with heavy rainfall in central Ohio that then turned scattered rain by the afternoon before ending. As we head through early Monday we should mostly stay dry, but rain could return as we approach sunrise!
Temperatures will fall down into the low 60s by early Monday morning, with partly cloudy skies, before rain starts to creep back in.
While Monday may start off dry for many, rain chances will return in short order, as showers and thunderstorms move back in heading toward the midday. There is a potential for a few strong to severe thunderstorms during the afternoon, especially along and east of I-71. The main concern is that a few storms could produce damaging wind gusts, though other types of severe weather cannot be ruled out.
A 10TV Weather Impact Alert Day will be in place through the afternoon and early evening hours, so make sure you are staying weather aware!
Rain chances wrap up by Tuesday, with dry weather returning, along with more sunshine by Wednesday and Thursday, letting temperatures rise back up into the 80s. Things should stay dry and warm through the end of the week, but another chance for rain and storms arrives by next weekend.
Make sure you have the 10TV app downloaded on your phone before storms move through to stay ahead of any weather alerts that may come out!
